The Democratic Assembly Caucus

The New Jersey Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee (DACC) is the political operation dedicated to electing and defending Democrats in the New Jersey General Assembly. Today, Democrats hold a 57–23 supermajority — the longest continuous Democratic majority in state history and one of the strongest legislative majorities in the country.

This supermajority did not happen by accident. It is the direct result of years of disciplined organizing, effective governance, and delivering real results for New Jersey families. Since at least 1900, no party had ever picked up four or more seats in consecutive elections while already in the majority — until now.

That historic achievement reflects voter confidence in Democratic leadership and in the policies that have made New Jersey fairer and more affordable.

Under Democratic leadership, New Jersey has become a place where you can raise a family, access world-class public education, build a career, and start a small business. It is a state that protects reproductive freedom, defends equal protections under the law regardless of race, class, gender, or sexual orientation, and stands up for working people. Democrats have delivered historic property tax relief through programs like ANCHOR and StayNJ, expanded healthcare access, strengthened gun safety laws, invested in infrastructure, and supported veterans and first responders.

And now, New Jersey is also becoming a place where you can retire with dignity. With expanded property tax relief for seniors, prescription drug affordability efforts, and measures to promote long-term financial stability, Democrats are ensuring that those who built our communities can remain in them.

DACC’s mission is simple: protect and expand this majority so we can continue delivering for the people of New Jersey. Our candidates fight for affordability, freedom, economic opportunity, and equal justice — because New Jersey’s priorities are our priorities.
